....of Bryce Canyon, Utah!
That's where I've been this past weekend.
Well, actually just on Sunday. The previous couple of days I'd been busily shooting photos at various places around St. George during an iStockphoto event. They're called "minilypses", as opposed to the bigger events which get their own names. About 24 talented photographers (and me, making 25) got together in St. George, along with several models and set up shooting locations at various places around the vicinity. It was a lot of fun, a lot of learning for me and a great opportunity to meet some iStockers from all over the world.
Now I'm back home, back at work too and with over 1900 raw photos to organize, pretty busy.
I'm getting some up on my iStock portfolio, and in the lightbox, but since we need to wait for model release forms to do anything with faces, there's not too much there yet. Still, I can process them and just wait for the paperwork.
Sunday's trip to Bryce, though, was a really amazing time. With my friend Cat and one of the models we made friends with, Duane, I took the 2 hour drive north and got some great shots of this natural wonder, plus some from the area around it too. You can check some of them out on my Flickr page.
I don't really know what else to say about it....the photos do the most justice. And yes, the colors really were like that. For the most part. I've never been to anywhere in Utah, or the Southwest for that matter, so it really blew me away.
Anyway, it's late, so more tomorrow. Enjoy!
