See, I like DST, I just hate losing the hour to get there. The extra hour of light at night rocks.
I just see it as taking the night time that I like and telling me it's really time for bed an hour before I'm ready. And then kicking me when I'm down in the morning. Not fair.
[this is good]
I suggest moving to Arizona where the last thing we'd want to save is our daylight.
You're right, the weekend it happens seriously sucks. I don't sleep well as it is and losing an hour sucks donkey dick. However, I love the extra hour of light when I get home from work. I'm so much more productive in the evenings than I am in the mornings.
But, really if the Powers That Be would just stick with one and be done with it, I'd be a happier person. Especially now since they've found that it doesn't do anything to save resources.
My father lives in Mesa and says that you have enough sunlight as it is, why would you want more. The problem is that you're not really gaining or losing an hour of anything. We still rotate the same way. It's just when it comes in the construct we call time - either in the morning or in the evening. And it just depends when you like it. When I lived in Seattle, the dark at 10 pm was a beautiful thing in the summers because that's when I was productive. Some people prefer the mornings.
Yeah but we don't like to hang out with "those people."
Oh hell no. Morning people scare me. ;)
