What is your favorite movie that was released in the 1980s?
Ok, I was saving this for a Monday Morning Movie, but I guess it really needs to be here too.

(Also the best SW film, hands down. It actually has....get this.....direction.)

Not that you wanted to know this, but I was pregnant for the first time and my son kicked me the first time really hard during The Empire Strikes Back. I wasn't paying attention to the rest of the movie after that!!!

Agreed that it is hands-down the best of the SW movies.
Though one could argue, that from a strict interpretation of the calendar -- that the 80s did not officially begin until 1980, in the same way that the 21st century didn't begin until 1/1/2001. That would then make "Empire" the best movie of the 1970s -- unless, of course, you prefer "Jaws".
