Chocolate samples

For those of you who expressed interest in this post about my mom's "healthy chocolates", I have cajoled her into sending me some samples. Which, in turn, I can send out to whoever is honestly interested in tasting these for themselves, hopefully with intent to place an order if they like them.

I told her no one is going to invest in a bulk box of these things without even trying them first. It took her a while but she finally got it.

Moms. :P

Anyway, this will be limited to the first 7 people who respond. I'll send you out a little package with the sample in it, and some info about the stuff. If you like it, you'll promise to at least contact her by email about it and hopefully want to order some for yourself.

If anyone else is really innerested, I'm sure I can get some more samples. But right now I'm only getting these.

Yesterday I almost left a comment on your earlier post: "Does anyone wanna split a crate of these with me? Because I don't need to 'sample' five thousand pounds of chocolate by myself." But I didn't because I didn't wanna have to be the one assembling 50 little ziploc sample baggies and shipping them all over the world. Ha. Thank, Jay! Yer a doll.

I totally understand. With your busy schedule these days that would put too much of a strain on you. Best leave it to those of us with nothing better to do. ;)

I put your mom's web page in my favorites to order some....I don't need a sample, but am curious to know if you have tried them and what you think of them. (taste-wise)

I'm such a consumer...I'll buy anything on word-of-mouth.

Nancy I have not tried these. This is the first sample I will have gotten...she's sending me eight nuggets and I'm keeping one to try myself. She says they are sweet....and this is from a person who puts Sweet & Low in her Arbor Mist. So I can only assume that they aren't bitter or dry at all. With me and hopefully seven others giving a review once they get theirs, that should be enough to go by.

Thanks for the info...I'm going to buy some. I like darker chocolate, as long as its not wickedly bitter.

Thanks for the sharing this info on behalf of your mom. I'm always looking for new products to try.
