A saber for your padawan!
UltraSabers has released some more of their popular "initiate" stunt sabers, which are super-bright Luxeon LED sabers at a smaller size of 23" long (in a 9" long handle).....at $40 each they're perfect for the young Star Wars fan!
They don't make noise, but everyone knows that's easy enough to do yourself. The color choices, price, brightness and durability are well worth the lack of sound effects.
Just an FYI for all you moms and dads. They sell out of these quick. First I've seen them in several months.
*I hate the word "padawan". I hate most of the words Lucas came up with. Dooku? Grievous? Mon Calamari?? WTF man. Attend a creative writing class some day.

On the other hand, I don't know if it's meant for newly-turned-5-year-olds, so I am not responsible for any damages or injuries that may result if you give one of these to him. It is basically a 30-inch-long shatterproof stick, after all.
He is actually very good with the ones that he already has (the cheapy plastic walmart ones). He doesn't run around willy nilly smashing everything. He loves Star Wars and does his best to fight just like the guys in the movies. He never hits us though. He always makes sure to hit the other lightsaber. I think he would be ok, especially since he wouldn't be using it without supervision. ha ha
I was a 5-year-old boy once too you know. Sometimes things.....just seem like a good idea.
I'm sure he'll love it.
