Matthew Reinhart

I bought Matthew Reinhart's latest book this week at Border's....he's tackled the Star Wars universe this time and did an amazing job with this one! Absolutely incredible designs.

Here's some quick photos of interior spreads....if you've never seen a Reinhart pop-up book, you're really missing out. His paper engineering is the best I've ever seen.

I have a few books by him and Robert Sabuda, another talented engineer whom he sometimes teams up with. This is a great book for any fan of Star Wars or pop-ups, maybe second in design only to his Jungle Book one. But there's a special treat at the end that may tip the scales!

You won't believe how it all fits into the 2 1/2-inch-thick book. It's nucking futs.

And totally worth it!
